Rachel Lovejoy Executive Director

After having grown up all over the world, Rachel has called Utah County home for the past thirteen years.  She studied Spanish literature at Brigham Young University and has since been involved in the nonprofit sector, working with Community Health Connect and serving as the Executive Director of Utah County Give Kids a Smile.  Rachel enjoys projects where she feels like she can help others and strengthen the community she lives in. She loves playing softball, training for triathlons, reading, and discovering new hole-in-the-wall restaurants to try.

Dodd Greer Healthplan Navigator

As a licensed Health Facility Administrator, Dodd brings to CHC years of service in professional healthcare management. He is a past-president of the Utah Health Care Association and Regional Chairman for the American Health Care Association in Washington DC. Dodd and his wife, Annalyn, who is an elementary school teacher, make their home in Payson. Together they share twelve adult children and fifteen grandchildren. Dodd’s outside interests include photography, history, travel, and Scottish heritage activities.

Penny Wallace Volunteer and Office Manager

Penny is from West Jordan, UT. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Utah Valley University. She enjoys exercising especially running, cycling, and ballroom dance with her husband. She lives with her husband in Mapleton, UT.

Mary Pingree Care Coordinator/AmeriCorps Member

Mary, from Salt Lake City, UT, is a Junior at Brigham Young University studying Public Health, and preparing to attend Nursing School at the University of Utah. She recently returned home from a church service mission in Seattle, WA, where she served and grew a fondness for the Spanish community. Mary is passionate about people and creating friendships, playing the violin, black licorice, and outdoor recreation. She hopes to make a meaningful difference during her time with Community Health Connect.

Clare Thomas Dental Program Manager

Clare grew up in various cities throughout the U.S. but calls Kansas City, KS home. She moved to Provo, UT in 2007 to attend Brigham Young University and after serving as a missionary for 18 months in San Diego, CA, she returned to Utah to finish her Bachelors in Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school in Utah and receive a Master in Social Work degree. She loves reading, watching movies, and on a warm day you will find her outside enjoying the sunshine.
